9. Troubleshooting
The machine does not start.
The electronic signal display flashes.
The restart protection is active. If the mains plug is
inserted with the machine switched on, or if the power
supply is restored following an interruption, the machine
does not start up. Switch the machine off and on again.
10. Equipment and accessories
10.1 Five-fold rocking hand grip
The rocking handle of the power tool
can be secured in five different posi-
tions. Using different angles of the
forward hand grip eases work load in
different working positions. For right-
and left-handed users. To tilt the
handle, unscrew the handle for a few
turns, bring the handle in the desired position, lock the
handle by screwing it snug.
10.2 Extendible transparent protection cover
The protection cover of the power
tool has an additional extendible
transparent cover on its top side.
Using the Eisenblätter Eco-Smart
adapter for tool widths up to
150 mm can be one reason to
make use of the additional protection to guard the tool
over its total length. The extended cover may be used to
your desire when ever there is high particle or metal flake
pollution for extra cover
.
10.3 Suction cover (optional accessory)
When ever you are working
with materials with respirab-
le dust (e.g. woodworking),
use in favour of your own
protection and to keep your
workspaces clean the
POLY-PTX® 802 HT suction
cover. To secure it on the
power tool, just screw in all knurled screws that come
with the suction cover into the perforated tab locations in
the protection cover. Connect the system to an adequate
industry vacuum cleaner with the standard flanch size of
35 mm. Pay extra attention when choosing your vacuum
cleaner or suction device towards its compatibility witht
hot/respirable particles, consult the manufacturer instruc-
tion.
The usage of an inadequate vacuum cleaner or
other suction device may result in serious dama-
ge and harm as hot particles may lead to fire.
10.4 Accessories
Use genuine Eisenblätter accessories.
Use only accessories which fulfil the requirements
and specifications listed in these operating instructions.
Cutting guard clip / guard for cut-off grinding
Designed for work with cutting disc and diamond
cutting discs. Once the cutting guard clip is fitted,
the safety guard becomes a cutting guard.

11. Repairs
Repairs to electrical tools must be carried out
by qualified electricians ONLY!
If the connection lead is damaged, it must be
replaced by a new connection lead.
Contact your Eisenblätter representative if you
have Eisenblätter power tools requiring repairs.

12. Warranty
The product is protected by a 1-year warranty as of the
date of purchase. Should this product be found to be de-
fective in any way, you will have a right of redress against
the vendor. None of your statutory rights and/or legal
remedies shall be in any way restricted by the following
warranty.
12.1 Warranty Conditions
The warranty period shall commence upon the date of
sale. Please keep the original receipt in a safe place, as
this document is required as proof of purchase.
Should this product develop any material or fabrication
defects within one year as of the purchase date, we shall
either repair it for you free of charge or replace it at our
discretion. This warranty service is predicated on our
receiving both the faulty device and the original receipt
within the 1-year warranty period along with a written
description of the fault and its date of occurrence.
If the defect in question is covered by our warranty then
you shall be furnished either with a repaired or repla-
cement device. The warranty period shall not restart
upon your taking receipt of said repaired or replacement
device.
12.2 Warranty Period and Statutory
Warranty Claims
The warranty period shall not be extended as a
result of our fulfilling the warranty conditions /
providing the warranty service. The same applies
to components we may replace or repair. Any
damages or defects present at the time of sale
must be reported immediately after unpacking
the product. Any repairs required after the end
of the warranty period will incur a charge at the
going rate.
