To change the blades (10), proceed as follows
(Fig. 12)
- Caution! -
Wear work gloves:
1. Undo the fastening screws.
2. Remove the blades (10) and replace them
with new ones. Always replace all three bla-
des (10) as a set.
3. Then retighten the fastening screw. Check
that the new blades (10) are able to rotate
freely.
Perform a general inspection of the robot lawn
mower at regular intervals and remove any depo-
sits which may have accumulated. At the start of
each season, ensure that you check the condition
of the blades (10). If repairs are necessary, please
contact our customer service center. Use only
genuine spare parts.
7.2.2 Changing the battery
Only replace the rechargeable battery with a ge-
nuine rechargeable battery, as this will ensure top
performance and safety.
To change the rechargeable battery (22), proceed
as follows (Fig. 10):
1. Undo the six fastening screws in the battery
cover (9).
2. Take the rechargeable battery (22) out of the
robot lawn mower.
3. Then insert the new rechargeable battery (22)
and fasten the battery cover (9) with the faste-
ning screws.
7.2.3 Software update
If you want to update the software, copy the new
software to an empty USB stick (format the USB
stick
fi
rst if necessary). Make sure that the rechar-
geable battery is fully charged before you carry
out the following steps.
1. Place the robot lawn mower in the area to be
mowed. The robot lawn mower must not be
in the charging station during the software
update.
2. Open the battery cover (9), take out the re-
chargeable battery (22) and connect a USB
stick to the USB connection as shown in the
illustration (Fig. 10 and 11).
3. Insert the rechargeable battery (22) again.
Switch on the main switch (7) (ON). Make
sure that the rechargeable battery (22) does
not drop out again.
4. Press the POWER button (60) and the “OK”
button (61) at the same time. Keep the but-
tons pressed for 5 seconds. All the LEDs (50,
51, 52, 53) on the control panel will now have
come on (2).
5. Press the “4” button / lock button (65) to start
the update. The time LEDs (50) show the cur-
rent progress. When all 5 time LEDs (50) are
lit together, this means that the process has
been completed.
6. After a few seconds the time LEDs (50) will
go out again and the robot lawn mower will
switch to normal operating mode with just one
time LED (50) on.
7. Pull out the USB stick and close the battery
cover (9) again.
7.2.4 Repairing the perimeter wire
If the perimeter wire (18) gets severed at any
point, use the supplied cable connectors (16) to
repair it. To do so, insert both ends of the severed
perimeter wire (18) into the cable connector (16)
and squeeze it together with the help of a pair of
pliers. Connect the power plug to the socket out-
let. Then check whether it is working properly by
checking the LED indicator (21) on the charging
station (19).

8. Storage
Fully charge up the rechargeable battery (22) be-
fore putting it into storage over winter and switch
o
ff
the robot lawn mower at the main switch (7)
(OFF). Take the rechargeable battery (22) out
of the equipment. Disconnect the power supply
unit (13) from the power supply and the charging
station (19).
The perimeter wire (18) can be left outdoors over
winter. However, make sure that the connections
are protected against corrosion. To do so, discon-
nect the connections of the perimeter wire (18)
from the charging station (19).
