3. Proper use
The power scythe (using the cutting blade) is
designed for cutting young trees, strong weeds
and undergrowth. The power trimmer (using the
line spool with cutting line) is designed for cutting
lawns, grassed areas and small weeds. The ope-
rating instructions as supplied by the manufactu-
rer must be obeyed to ensure that the equipment
is used properly. Any use which is not expressly
permitted in the manual may result in damage
to the equipment and place the user in serious
danger. Be sure to observe the restrictions in the
safety instructions.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
equipment is used in commercial, trade or indust-
rial businesses or for equivalent purposes.
Important
. Due to the high risk of bodily injury
to the user, the petrol power scythe must not be
used to carry out the following work: to clean dirt
and debris o

walkways, or to chop up tree or
hedge clippings. Similarly, the petrol power scythe
must not be used to level out high areas such as
molehills. For safety reasons, the petrol power
scythe must not be used as a drive unit for other
work tools or toolkits of any kind.
The equipment is allowed to be used only for its
prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to
be a case of misuse. The user/operator and not
the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or
injuries of any kind resulting from such misuse.
