Capture Images

Start the GPS Acquisition image capturing software by clicking
the
GPS Acquisition icon.

In the Technician Info window, add your information, then
click
OK
.
All fields are required and accept alphanumeric and special characters.

In the GPS Acquisition window, do the following:
a) Select the calibration object .
The Number of Sensors, Pedestal Height, and GPS Number fields will
automatically update.
b) Setting up consistent calibration file naming is
recommended.
For example: Calibration_File_9.7.11 using “Calibration” as the first
name, “File” as the last name, and the date as the patient ID number.
c) Enable or disable the dome’s white LED lights:
•
Enable (check) the “Enable Auto White LED Lights”
checkbox to turn the LEDs on during system power up.
If enabled, the LEDs will stay illuminated only until you click
Capture Images or they time out.
•
Disable (uncheck) the “Enable Auto White LED Lights”
checkbox to leave the LEDs off at all times.
The LED lights are not required for capturing images. However,
they can be useful to technicians for centering the calibration
object in each of the software’s 11 camera views.
d) Click Capture Images .

In the Capture Images window, view the live streaming video
and adjust the object’s position and/or the dome’s height to
ensure that:
a) the object is centered and completely visible in all 11 views;
