Tractor unit handles / tether points
Tractor handles: Used to deploy, move
and remove the scanner.
Ensure the tractor unit handles are
used at all times when handling or
operating the scanner.
Tether Points: Ensure the unit is tethered
centrally to each attachment point at all
times to prevent the scanner from
falling.
Prior to use, ensure the end caps and
each tractor unit are securely fastened
onto the scanner rail.

Wheel brakes
Used to hold the scanner in position.
To engage brakes: Turn levers up, facing
away from the inspection surface.
To disengage brakes: Turn levers down,
facing towards the inspection surface.
Ensure brakes are disengaged (levers
down) prior to moving the scanner.
Failure to do so will result in
accelerated wear of the brake teeth.

Magnetic wheels
The four wheels provide permanent
magnetic attraction to the inspection
surface.
