process, you can take off the jug temporarily to serve a cup of
hot coffee. The coffee-making process will not be interrupted
and the appliance will stop dripping coffee temporarily.
Afterwards, simply place the glass jug back onto the hot
plate to restart the coffee-making process, but do not remove
the jug for longer than 30 seconds. Never place the empty
jug on the hot plate when it is still hot.
7. Remove the jug to serve when you have finished making
the coffee.
NOTE: the coffee produced will be less than the water poured
into the tank, as some of the water is absorbed by the ground
coffee.
CAUTION: when pouring coffee, you must not tilt the jug
more than 45 degrees from a vertical position, the coffee
must be poured slowly until the jug is empty; otherwise, the
coffee in the jar will fall onto the lower part of the jug lid, and
could overflow at the sides, possibly causing injury.
8. After making the coffee, the appliance will automatically
go into standby mode, keeping the coffee warm until the
appliance is turned off. After minutes, the coffee machine
will turn off automatically. For the best coffee flavour, serve it
when it is freshly-made.
9. Turn off the coffee machine and unplug the appliance
when not in use.
