Before using this electrical appliance, basic safety 

precautions must be adhered to, which include the following:
1. Read the instructions carefully and keep them with the 

appliance. Ensure that you have fully understood the safety 

precautions mentioned here.
2. Ensure that the voltage of the mains supply corresponds 

with the voltage stated in the coffee machine’s specifications.
3. Place the coffee machine on a flat surface or table. Do 

not let the cable hang from the edge of the table or from the 

countertop and do not let it touch any hot surface.
4. Do not use the coffee machine without water. An empty 

jug on the hot plate can crack.
5. Do not expose the appliance to rain or moisture. Water 

getting into the appliance will increase the risk of electric 

shock.
6. The appliance must not be left unattended when in use. 

Do not leave the coffee machine in standby mode for long 

periods of time. 
7. Connect the plug to the socket before using the coffee 

machine and turn off all switches before unplugging it. To 

unplug the coffee machine, always pull on the plug, never on 

the cord.
8. Unplug the appliance from the socket when not in use 

and before cleaning it. Let the appliance cool down before 

attaching or removing parts and before cleaning it.
9. Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged, 

if the product has malfunctioned, or if it has been damaged 

in any way. Bring the appliance to an authorised Technical 

Service for inspection, repair or servicing. Do not try to fix it 

yourself.
10. The use of accessories not recommended by the

11. To avoid a fire, electric shock and physical injury, do not 

immerse the cord, plug or unit in water or in any other liquid.
12. The hot plate reaches a high temperature when in use, so

maintenance shall not be performed by children if not 

supervised.
15. Keep this appliance out of the reach of children.

17. Do not use the jug if it shows signs of cracks or if the 

handle is loose. Take care when using the jug because it is 

very fragile.
