Standard Equipment Received
Assembling the control panel
Confirm you have received all necessary parts as illustrated on page 9.
1. Locate the EcoSmart cover plate on the unit, remove the four(4)
plastic screw caps and unscrew the cover plate from the unit.
Keep the four screws and screw caps. The gas control panel plate
should be directly behind the EcoSmart cover plate. The EcoSmart
cover plate is no longer needed.
2. Remove the sparker cover and plastic nut from the sparker box.
3. Place the sparker box behind the control panel plate and insert the
sparker box into the control panel plate.
4. From the front of the control panel plate, secure the sparker box by
attaching the plastic nut.
5. Insert AAA battery, ensuring the + direction of the battery is facing
outward when installed.
6. Screw on the sparker cover to hold the battery in place.
7. Attach the control valve to the back of the control panel plate using
the provided screws. The valve must be installed with orientation as
shown
.
8. Install the turn Knob.
1.Locate the Control panel location on the Unit, remove the four plastic screw caps and unscrew the cover plate from the Unit.
2.Keep the four screws and screw caps; the gas control plate should be directly behind the Ecosmart cover plate. The cover plate is no longer needed.
5.From the front of the control panel, secure the sparker by attaching the plastic nut.
8.Attach the control valve to the back of the control panel plate using the provided screws.
The valve must be installed with orientation as shown. (moved to after installation of sparker
9.Install the turn Knob.
3.Remove the sparker cover and plastic nut from the sparker box.
6.Insert AAA battery, ensuring the + direction of the battery is facing outward when installed.
7.Screw on the sparker box cover to hold the battery in place.
4.Place the sparker behind the control panel and insert the sparker box into the control panel plate.
