setting. The wiping cloth must be completely slipped in inside without any fold and must be tight, in
order to ease the coming back of the water into the appliance.
Any important compression due to a fold for instance, could lead to liquid waste going outside the
shell.
-
11 set the wiping cloth well tight and well centred on its support.
-
12 perfect setting of the wiping cloth. The setting of this wiping cloth is essential for a good efficiency
of the appliance.
-
13 the change of the wiping cloth will simply be made by progressive tearing off
-
14
The appliance must never be hold head down or you may see the liquid waste running
down on the floor
-
15 Gravity law demands you
to hold the appliance head up and horizontally
, in order to allow the
liquid waste to go back to the tank to be filtered. The appliance is not made to be laterally tilted, or
you may see drops fall down on the floor.
The wiping cloths can be washed in a washing machine at 60°C, without any water softener. Never use
other wiping cloths than the ones prescribed by ECODROP.
Starting
-
16 plug in your power cord (9), as per the previous advice.
-
17 your appliance will be ready in a few seconds (5s-10s), press on the steam button (15) to have
some vapour.
CLEANLINESS AND FINISHING
1- The scraping will be made from top to bottom.
2-
A slight pressure
will be applied on the head of the appliance. A too strong pressure on the wiping
cloth would stop the water from entering into it, and would lead to water streaming along the surface
to clean.
3- For an optimal finishing, you will only need to wipe them manually.
IMPORTANT
: it is not needed to produce vapour constantly, you only need to maintain the temperature
of the wiping cloth at the same level.
In case of stains or important blemishes, you will get better results going back several times with the
vapour in order to dissolve deeply the dirt.
IT IS DIFFICULT TO GET A TOTALLY DRY SURFACE WITH THE APPLIANCE
and that whatever the
system you will use, the remaining traces of water will be wiped with a linen. Just letting the residual dry
by themselves will lead to traces, especially at the first time.
Your windows will show a surprising transparency, as the grease left by your usual detergents or pollution
will have completely disappeared in one or two cleaning.
Maintenance advice
You must pull the plug out of the mains socket before cleaning and maintenance.
After each washing it is recommended to wash and rinse the tank, in order to avoid all fouling up that
would damage the appliance. Ionization of water can lead to a slight sediment at the bottom of the tank, it
is then essential to clean it after each use, its guaranty would be automatically cancelled in case of fooling
up.
-
The little filter (5), placed under the stopper / top (4), will be dismantle and washed at each use.
-
The appliance does not need descaling. However, it is
recommended not to use water presenting
h.t.
(Hydrometrical title or sometimes named H.g) more than 30°f (get information at your town hall)
Extremely hard waters, can also, because of their nature, damage prematurely your pump. Demineralised
water or filtered rain water are always advised, in that case. If not, from times to times it is recommended
to add a little white vinegar in your water.
The wiping cloths
whose microfibers are damaged, showing not tight or too long threads are to be
changed. Those threads will be between the surface to clean and the joint of scraping and then will lead
to imperfections in the scraping on the windows or other supports.
If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer
service or similarly qualified professionals in order to avoid hazards.
