OPERATION

 

ON/OFF

UNIT

 

• 

Place the unit in an upright position on an 
even level surface. 

 

• 

Plug the unit into the mains socket.

 

• 

Turn the Humidistat Dial clockwise to 
select desired mode.  (Power ON 

 

indicator will light up)

 

• 

Turn anti

-

clockwise to reduce the power. 

 

• 

To switch the unit OFF, turn anti

-

clockwise all the way.

 

 

DRY/LAUNDRY MODE 

 

(USING THE HUMIDISTAT DIAL)

 

 

Low

 

 

• 

Select to keep the room at a comfortable 
level

 

• 

Dries the air to approximately 70% RH and 
stops dehumidifying.

 

 

Medium 

 

 

• 

Select to run in Medium mode

 

• 

Dries the air to approximately 50% RH and 
stops dehumidifying.

 

 

High 

 

 

• 

Select High mode to quickly control high 
levels of humidity

 

• 

Dries the air to approximately 40% RH and 
stops dehumidifying.

 

Laundry

 

• 

Use for drying clothes. The dehumidifier 

will continuously dry the air until the 
settings are changed manually.  It typically 
takes 2 –

 4 

hours to dry your laundry.   

 

• 

Place the laundry on a drying rack with a 

minimum distance of 40cm away from the 
dehumidifier

 

• 

Only use the Laundry Mode function over a 

short period of time.   Avoid using the 
laundry mode unattended. 

 

ECONOMY/TURBO MODES 

 

(USING THE ECONOMY TURBO SWITCH)

 

 
 
 

Economy

 

Select this mode for maximum

 

energy saving and quiet operation.  

 

• 

Use this mode for normal daily use.  

 

• 

Highly recommended for night use.

 

 
 
 

Turbo

 

Select this mode for rapid dehumidification.

 

• 

For quick drying, turn humidistat clock-
wise to the end and slide switch to 
TURBO.

 

 

Tip: Once you reach desired RH, switch from 

TURBO 

to 

ECONOMY 

for energy savings. use

TIP: 

Avoid using the Turbo mode for normal  daily use. You 

may use to dry very damp rooms over 2  –

 3 

days and then 

switch to the recommended Economy mode.

 

CHECK LIGHT

 

• 

Lights up when water tank is full or not 
properly inserted.

 

 

Water Full/

Check

• 

Clean the filter.

 

• 

Allow the dehumidifier to cool down. 
Switch OFF and leave for 30 minutes and 
turn on again. This is normal. 

 

• 

Check that the temperature and humidi-
ty are within the operating ranges, use a 
hygrometer to measure (available to 

 

purchase at ecoair.org) 

 

• 

Check that the tank is inserted correctly 
and securely.

 

 

TIP:  

When the check light comes on, move it to another 

room where the temperature is warm such your living room 
to test.
