A regular and accurate care is very important for the performance, the longevity and the safety of your machine.
Caution!
Always switch the machine off and let it cool down to room temperature before cleaning.
7.1 General cleaning
Daily cleaning:
Filter holder, filters, water tank, drip tray, drip plate of the drip tray, measuring-spoon and tamper require daily
cleaning. Use warm water and/or with food safe detergent for cleaning.
Clean the shower screen and the group gasket in the lower part of the group and remove visible dirt without
dissasembling the parts.
Cleaning as necessary:
Clean the steam and hot water valve after every use.
Clean the outside of the machine when it is switched off and cool.
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
Never use abrasive or chloric detergents!

A brew group cleaner (in powder or tablet form) is available at your specialized dealer. They are utilized for a

Fill the blind filter with about 1/3 of the group cleaning powder or with one tablet.

Clamp the filter holder into the brew group requiring cleaning.
5
Activate the brew group lever so that the blind filter is filled with water.
6
Leave the cleaner to soak by placing the brew group lever into the middle position, about 45°
7
Place the brew group lever into the lower position in order for the fats and oils to be released through the
cylinder beneath the brew group.
8
Repeat steps 5 – 7 several times until only clear water is released through the cylinder.
9
Remove the filter holder with the blind filter and rinse it with fresh water. Then clamp it back into the brew
group.
10
Activate the brew group lever for about 1 minute (middle position), then place it back into the lower position.
