The Information Bar
A banner is displayed across the bottom of the screen
for a few seconds whenever you change channel. It
shows details about the current channel and
programme.
More detailed information can be displayed at any
time by pressing the
i
key.
Press the navigation button up or down to view
different channels.
Press the navigation button left or right to browse
across the programmes scheduled for transmission
on this channel.
Press the
GREEN
key to set a reminder; the unit will
alert you when the program is about to start (see
page 28).
Press the
BLUE
key to change the picture resolution
(the current resolution is shown in the top right corner
of the info bar’s symbol area.
Press the
Record
button to record the highlighted programme (or stop the
recording if it is already in progress).
Tip.
The icons on the right hand side give you additional information about the
programme (see page 63). In the example here, the icons show the display
resolution (720p), the availability of multiple audio components, subtitles and
text services, that the programme is part of a series, and that it is a HD
transmission.
