5.4
Settings
The
ECH
O
SOFT
offers a range of configurations to ad-
just the software’s operation to your needs. The “
Set-
tings
” are available on the menu located at the top of
the main window.
The setting window is composed of tabs that gives ac-
cess to different categories of configuration detailed be-
low.
5.4.1
Database
The
ECH
O
SOFT
rely on a database to store patients and doctors’ information’s, as well as measurement results. There
are different options to manage this database.
The options are:
•
Select another database:
select a database located in another folder. It is possible to select a database located on
your computer, on a USB key or a network shared folder*.
•
Relocating the database:
move the current database to another folder. It is possible to select a local folder, a USB
key or a network shared folder*.
•
Create a new database:
create an empty database in a new folder. It is possible to select a local folder, a USB key
or a network shared folder*.
•
Use the default database:
restore the default configuration (database located in .echosoft in the user folder).
•
Backup database:
create a backup of the current database, the backup is located in .echosoft in the user folder.
The backup file name contain the data and time.
*In the case of a network shared folder, it is not recommended to have write access (create patient, record
measures ...etc...) by several users in the same time.
