12.2 User Management - Definitions of Access levels
12.2.1 Level based system
There are 10 users on the system. The functionality built into the system has been
grouped into the following sets of levels. These levels can be assigned to Users
1-9. The final user is Engineer user and has access to all functionality. The levels are
governed by BS EN 54-2 and are detailed below.
Access Level 1
A level 1 user is only able to view high level data and does not have access to any
system functionality which modifies site data (they do not have a user account).
This is effectively anyone who is using the panel while not logged in.
A level 1 user can view the following data on the system via the top bar buttons:
1. View fire data
2. View pre-alarm data
3. View fault data
4. View disablement data
5. View test data
Access Level 2
A level 2 user has access to all the functionality of 1, as well as:
1. Reset System
2. Silence/Sound Alarms
3. Enable/Disable (limited)
4. View Data
5. Evacuate
6. Tests
7. Event Logs
8. Computer
9. System Settings
10. Manage Users
Access Level 3
A level 3 user has access to all the functionality of 2, as well as:
1. Commissioning
2. Enable/Disable (all)
