Digital Switch field devices connections
Input wiring
Each Digital Switch has one analog input (AI) and one digital
input (DI). The digital input requires a dry contact closure
between the DI terminal and GND terminal. This input is
typically connected to a low voltage occupancy sensor or
any device with dry-contact output.

Digital input option is not available on 6-button
digital switches.
The analog input accepts 0–10 Vdc signal from external
devices.
The AI is typically connected to interior/exterior photo
sensors to monitor light levels
Output wiring
Each Digital Switch has one analog output (AO) to directly
control analog devices. The analog output provides
0–10 Vdc signal. This output is typically used to control
fluorescent and LED lighting equipped with 0–10 Vdc
dimming control circuitry. Up to 20 fluorescent ballasts or
10 LED drivers can be controlled.
External device power
Each digital switch includes a 12 Vdc/20 mA output (VOUT)
for connecting field devices such as, occupancy sensors and
photo sensors.

The power output of the switch has limited current
capabilities. Connecting devices that require the
higher current to this output will disable operation
of the switch.
