The E65 UPS can be purchased separately or factory-installed in an IBM
iSeries or pSeries rack.

NOTE

If the UPS is pre-installed in an IBM rack, continue to “Installing the Internal

Batteries” on page 13. If you are installing the UPS in an IBM iSeries (0550, 0551, 0553, 0554
or 0555 type) or pSeries (7014 type) rack, continue to the following section, “Tools Required.”
