MINIMUM RECOMMENDED CABLE VAULT DEPTH IS BASED ON USE OF (4) 1250 KCM OR 630 SQ MM MV POWER CABLES PER PHASE. WHEN ADDITIONAL DEVICES SUCH AS ZERO SEQUENCE GROUND FAULT CT'S OR VT'S ARE LOCATED WITHIN THE CABLE VAULT, ADDITIONAL DEPTH MAY BE REQUIRED TO ACCOMMODATE THESE DEVICES. IT IS CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE APPROPRIATE CABLE VAULT DEPTH BASED ON ACTUAL NUMBER OF CABLES PER PHASE, THEIR SIZES, TOTAL NUMBER OF CABLES FOR THE ENTIRE SWITCHGEAR LINEUP, AND ANY ADDITIONAL DEVICES LOCATED WITHIN THE CABLE VAULT.

IF LV TRENCH IS SEPARATE FROM MV CABLE VAULT, (SEE DETAIL 1), THEN MAXIMUM DIMENSION SHOULD NOT EXCEED THE VALUE SHOWN. LV TRENCH DEPTH TO BE DETERMINED BY SITE ENGINEER. IF CABLE VAULT IS INTENDED TO BE EXTENDED FORWARD FOR ROUTING LV WIRING CONDUITS AND MV CABLES IN A COMMON SPACE (SEE DETAIL 2), THEN A STRUCTURAL BEAM OR OTHER MEANS OF SUPPORT OF ADEQUATE WIDTH SHOULD BE POSITIONED UNDERNEATH THE FRONT ANCHOR POINTS TO PROVIDE REQUIRED LOAD BEARING SURFACE FOR ANCHORING SYSTEM AND EQUIVALENT SUPPORT, FLATNESS AND MAXIMUM
DEFLECTION. SIZING OF STRUCTURAL

4. FRONT TO REAR STRUCTURAL SUPPORT SPANNING THE VAULT IS NOT
REQUIRED AT THE ENDS OF THE LINEUP OR AT INTERMEDIATE SEAMS BETWEEN VERTICAL SECTIONS. HOWEVER, IF PROVIDED, SUPPORT ENGAGEMENT OF MORE THAN 1.75 IN [45 MM] COULD RESULT IN INTERFERENCE WITH AVAILABLE LV ENTRY AREA.
