Section 2: Installation of key interlock
Proceed with the following 16 steps:
Step1: To remove the circuit breaker front cover. Remove the
hexagonal mounting screws (four for 3 pole breakers and six
for 4 pole breakers) from the front cover using a 10 mm 1/4-
inch socket wrench. Then pull down on the charging handle
and retain it by 45° angle to remove the front cover.
Step 2: Remove the plug from the key lock hole. If there is
no hole, drill a 1-7/16-inch (36mm) hole from the cover using
an existing taper drill to install the operation indicator. Use a
hole saw, for example, Starrett # KAVH0176.

Step 3: The counter and operation spring need to be
removed if installed, and be kept properly for later installa-
tion. Remove the existing counter/lock mounting panel.
Step 4: Install the interlock lever kit (A) into the shaft as
shown.
Step 5: Put the bearing bush (C) onto the key lock, and make
sure to install the key lock along the lock panel direction
using the hexagon nut provided. Ignore the other hardware
supplied with the key lock - ferrules, small hexagon nuts, and
cams.
