Section 2: Installation of key interlock
Proceed with the following 12 steps:
Step1: To remove the circuit breaker front cover, remove
four square-head hexagonal mounting screws (six for 4
pole breakers) from the front cover. Then pull down on the
charging handle by 45° angle to remove the front cover.
Step 2: Remove the plug from the key lock hole. If there
is no hole, drill a 1-7/16-inch (36mm) hole from the cover
using an existing taper drill, as described in the operation
instruction booklet. Use a hole saw, for example, Starrett #
KAVH0171.
Step 3: The counter and operating spring need to be
removed if installed, and be kept properly for later installa-
tion. Remove the existing counter/lock mounting panel.
