Secure the battery cabinet position by lowering the leveling feet until the cabinet is not resting on the
casters. Ensure the cabinet is level and matches the height of the first installed battery cabinet.

Remove the left-hand and right-hand screws from the adjacent top door hinges of the battery cabinets.
9.
Locate the small flat bracket from the field kit. Align the holes in the small flat bracket over the hinge
screw holes. Replace the screws in the hinges, securing the bracket to the cabinets (see Figure 4-5).
10. Locate the large flat bracket from the field kit. Place the bracket over the bolts on the bottom side of the
adjacent lower hinges on the battery cabinets (see Figure 4-6).

NOTE
Two cabinet joining brackets are provided for securing each cabinet at the top and
bottom. A flat bracket joins the top of the cabinets and a larger flat bracket joins the
cabinets at the bottom. The small flat bracket is attached to the cabinet tops first.
