Supine Option Usage
1.
Loosen both red supine locking handles located
by the hip pivot on both sides of the unit. Flip
the supine lever located under the right side
of the seat to the “supine” position. This will
release the back, seat and foot plates from the
frame.
2.
Adjust to the desired supine position by tilting
the back and then tighten both red supine
locking handles. This can be done with the user
in the stander and at any position.
The Swing-Away front will need to be swung out
of the way to reach a full supine position.
3.
Depress the foot pedal (or optional hydraulic
actuator) to position the stander at the desired
standing angle.
Flat to Load Transfers:
Children who are
difficult to transfer due to high tone can utilize
the Bantam with the Supine option to do a
flat-to-load transfer or a knee/hip flexion (with a
slight bend at the knees and hips) transfer.
