Head Position Offset
This option adjusts the horizontal position of the
print head. Set the value at
Production Line Setup > Print Head > Head
Position Offset
.
Mirror / Flip Message
Both the Mirror and Flip Message features
produce a mirror image of the print and may be used to advantage when
printing on the inside of transparent material.
The Flip Message function produces a mirror image around the X-axis and
the Mirror function produces a mirror image around the Y-axis.
The total 180° rotation is produced when the Mirror and Flip Message
functions are activated at the same time.

manually adjusted.
Head down
For Compact 32d, 32c and 53c printers: When the print head
needs be lowered, i.e. at the start of a print, the printer's software sends a
signal to the twin-shafted motor, thus lowering the print head.
For Communicator II printers: An air valve controls the printer's print head
movement. When the print head must be lowered, i.e. at the start of a print,
the printer's software sends a signal to this valve, thus lowering the print
head.
There is normally a delay whilst the print head is lowered. To compensate
for this delay, the Head Down value can be increased, thus causing the
signal to be transmitted earlier, i.e., the number of milliseconds defined in
this setting is the number of milliseconds earlier that the signal will be sent.
If the first part of the print is missing, it is usually because this setting is too
low.
