− Do not use the sewing machine with an external timer or
separate remote control system.
− Do not immerse the sewing machine, power adapter,
power cord, or the foot pedal in water or other liquids.
− Never touch the power plug with wet or damp hands.
− Never move, pull, or carry the sewing machine by its
power cord.
− Keep the sewing machine, the power supply unit, and the
power cord away from open flames and hot surfaces.
− Lay the power cord and foot pedal cord so that they do not
pose a tripping hazard.
− Do not kink the power cord or foot pedal cord and do not
lay them over sharp edges.
− Only use the sewing machine indoors. Do not use it in
damp rooms or in the rain.
− Do not place the sewing machine such that there is a risk
of it falling into a tub or sink.
− Never reach to retrieve an electrical device if it has fallen
into water. In such a case, immediately disconnect the
power plug.
− Do not use the sewing machine on soft surfaces, such as a
bed or couch.
− Always switch the sewing machine off and unplug it when
you are not using it, when you intend to clean it, or in the
event of a malfunction.
