6.2 Service and Adjustment of Control Unit (Cont.)
9. Place the control unit on a clean and stable work surface, and remove the
four (4) Allen head machine screws from the cover. Remove cover.
10. With a socket wrench, 2” extension and 9/16”socket, carefully loosen the two
(2) controller adjustment bolts (back of control unit above and below the air
cylinder), until both bolts are completely loose. Set bolts and washer aside
noting placement.
TURN EACH ADJUSMENT BOLT EQUALLY COUNTER CLOCKWISE,
MAKING SURE TO TURN EACH BOLT ONE (1) TURN AND THEN THE
OTHER SO AS TO LOOSEN THEM EVENLY. THIS IS MOST CRITICAL.
FAILURE TO LOOSEN EQUALLY WILL DAMAGE THE CONTROL UNIT.
