3.  The supplied sensor has to be attached to the liquid line using the copper strap 

provided. 

If necessary, the sensor wire can be extended to a maximum of 25’ using 18/2 

thermostat wire. The sensor shall be connected to the sensor terminal block at the HCM. 
Once attached to the liquid line, the sensor should be insulated with 

1/2” wall thickness 

Armaflex, Insul-Tube or equivalent insulation. See Figure 7.

4.  The Hybrid Cooling Module contains a thermostatic actuated fan speed control that has 

been factory set for a pre-determined R-410A system condensing temperature.

Check all wiring and electrical connections to ensure proper routing and good 
contact

 before restoring electric power, evacuating and recharging system in 

accordance with the current EarthLinked

®

 system installation manual.
