REPLACING THE LIGHTBULBS

The electric fireplace insert uses two (2) clear 120-volt, 40-watt, E-12 socket base lightbulbs (small
base, chandelier candle-type bulbs). The lightbulbs are located at the bottom of the unit. You can
change the lightbulbs from the back of the electric fireplace. For your convenience, if one of the
lightbulbs burns out, it may be easier to replace all of the lightbulbs at the same time.

1.  Turn the electric fireplace master power to the “off” position.

2.  Let the electric fireplace insert cool completely before

changing lightbulbs.

3.  Pull the mantel away from the wall so you can get in behind

the electric fireplace.

4.  Remove the screws from the panel using a Philips or

flathead screwdriver.

5.  Carefully remove the lightbulb. This may require holding the

light socket with one hand while unscrewing the lightbulb
with the other hand.

6.  Install the new lightbulbs.

7.  Insert and tighten the screws into the panel that were

removed in step 4.

8.  Return your mantel to its original position.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Please dispose of the remote’s used battery per municipal or provincial/state law.

CAUTION

There are no serviceable parts inside (except for the lightbulbs).

CARE AND CLEANING

1.  Always turn the heater off and unplug the power cord from the outlet before cleaning.

2.  Cleaning of the control panel, located in the upper right-hand corner of the electric fireplace,

is to be done only using a soft cloth, slightly dampened in water (if needed, a small amount
of dish soap can be added to the water) and dried using a clean dry cloth. Cleaning of the
screen diffuser is to be done using only water and a lint-free cloth. Do NOT use any abrasive
cleaners or textiles on the controls or the diffusing screen.
