Do not use the earphones with the unit while driv-
ing, cycling or operating any motorized vehicle.
This could create a traffic hazard and is illegal in
many areas. It could also be dangerous to play
music at a high volume while walking, especially at
pedestrian crossings.
Avoid using the earphones with the unit at a high
volume for extended periods of time. If you experi-
ence ringing in your ears, reduce the volume.

Check that the battery still has power.
Check that the battery is installed correctly with the
positive end to the left. For instructions see

WHY DID MY
ODYSSEY 200
TURN ITSELF OFF?
The Odyssey 200 has an automatic shut-off feature
to conserve battery power when you aren’t using
your player and powers off after three minutes.
However, this excludes Radio Mode or when the
player is in a playback state, that is, playing a track.
BUTTONS DON’T
WORK
Check if the Hold switch is locked. If this is the
case, Key Hold appears on the LCD. For more

FILES CANNOT BE
TRANSFERRED
Check the USB cable connections between your
PC and player.
Ensure the player is powered on.
