FORMAT SMC
A new SMC must be formatted once before you
can store files on it:
1.
Turn off your player and Insert SMC as
described above .
2.
Connect the USB Cable between your player
and PC.
3.
Turn your player on.
4.
Start the Odyssey Manager software.
5.
Select the
Memory > Format Memory Card
menu.
EJECT SMC
To eject the SMC:
1.
Turn off your player.
2.
Push the Eject switch upward
and remove the SMC from the
Slot.

You can lock your player so that it will
not respond to accidental button
pushes.
To lock the player, slide the
Hold but-
ton downward and
Key Hold
displays
on the LCD when any player button is
pressed.
To unlock, slide the Hold button
upward.
