Component configuration

Click the
Configuration
tab, then check the components listed in the
dialog box to make sure that you have all of the following components
installed:
• Client for Microsoft Networks
• Dynex DX-E201 CardBus PC Card
• NetBEUI
• TCP/IP

If any components are missing, click
Add
to install them. Highlight the
component you need, click
Add
, then double-click the component that you
need to install. Click
Close
to exit.
Note:
If you are using Windows 98SE, enable File and Printer Sharing to make
your computer visible on the network.

Click the
Identification
tab. Type the name of your computer in the
Computer name
box. Use a unique name.

If you want to enter a workgroup name, type the name in the
Workgroup
box. The workgroup name must be identical for all computers on your
network. If one computer on your network has a different workgroup name
than the others, that computer will not appear in the same workgroup
view.

Click the
Access Control
tab. The screen that controls file sharing opens.

Click
Share-level access control
. If connecting to a NetWare server, share
level can be set to
User-level access control
.
