Windows 2000/XP network
component configuration
Although this procedure contains instructions for Windows 2000, Windows XP
instructions are very similar. For Windows XP, see your Windows documentation.
After the driver has been installed, you must make some changes to your
network settings:

Click
Start
,
Settings
,
Control Panel
, then click
Network and Dial-Up
Connections.
The
Network Connections
window opens.

Double-click the
Local Area Connection
icon. The
Local Area Connection
Status
dialog box opens.

Click
Properties
, then check the components listed in the dialog box to
make sure that you have all of the following components installed:
• Client for Microsoft Networks
• Dynex DX-E201 CardBus PC Card
• NetBEUI
• Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

If any components are missing, click
Add
to install them. Highlight the
component you need, click
Add
, then double-click the component that you
need to install. Click
Close
to exit.
