3.2 How to execute the test program
To start the test program for the maintenance, follow these steps below:
Step 1: Connect a USB Type-C adapter, a display, a keyboard (with function keys), a mouse
(and a USB hub, if needed), a AC adapter and a power cord to the computer.
Step 2: Turn on the computer while pressing F2 of the keyboard to display the BIOS setup
program.
If Windows starts, shut down the computer while pressing
Shift . Then repeat Step 2.
Step 3: Set [Security] menu – [Secure Boot] to [Disabled].
Step 4: Select [Exit] menu – [Save Changes and Power Off] to turn off the power.
Step 5: Insert the USB memory which includes the test program into the USB connector.
Step 6: Turn on the computer while pressing F12 of the keyboard.
Step 7: Chose USB Memory on the selection screen, and press Enter of the keyboard.

Step 8: Then this program executes the followings automatically.
Procedure 1: Check of hardware information
The program checks and displays the hardware information such as HDD and
SSD of the computer.
When a system board is exchanged and DMI information has not been written
in, the DMI information can be registered with this program.
Refer to 3.3 Entry of the DMI information for details.
