Scene Mode
The DV camera provides 13 scene modes. Select a suitable scene mode to
adjust white balance, EV Compensation, Metering mode, and ISO settings.
The descriptions of each scene mode is as follows:
Auto:
Select this mode when you prefer to leave the
settings up to the DV camera. It is applicable
to general-purpose photography.
Manual:
Select this mode when you want to decide all
settings manually.
Portrait:
This mode is applicable to take photographs
of people.
Landscape: This mode is applicable to take photographs
of outdoor Scenery.
Party:
This mode is applicable to take photographs
of indoor party.
Beach:
This mode is applicable to take photographs
of bright scenes, such as beaches, snowfields,
or lakes.
Sunset:
This mode is applicable to take photographs
of sunrise or sunset scenes.
Night
Portrait:
This mode is applicable to take photographs
of people at night.
Night
Landscape:
This mode is applicable to take photographs
of scenes at night.
Fireworks: This mode is applicable to take photographs
of firework shows with a faster shutter speed.
Macro:
This mode is applicable to take photographs
of objects standing out and with the
background out of focus.
Copy:
This mode is applicable to take photographs
of text or drawings on a business card, or
other printed matters.
Backlight: This mode is applicable to take photographs
of light sources located behind the objects.
Except for Manual mode, the white balance, EV
compensation, metering mode, and ISO menus cannot
be adjusted manually.
