all applicable electrical safety rules. (If the motor switch required
much effort with the fan installed, this check may also be carried out
under no. 4 above, after free impeller movement was verified.)

smooth impeller movement, and retighten all screws.
Important
Carefully observe or comply with the following during installa-

national laws and/or suppliers’ requirements for connection.
— The mains power voltage and frequency supplying the motor
must be in line with the values indicated on its name plate.

— The thermal current overload switch has to be set for the
nominal current indicated on the name plate of the motor.
2.2 Understanding the Parts of the Product
2.3 Understanding Operation
The radial fan is designed for positive extraction of aggressive fluids
not containing foreign particles (low in aerosols, no dust) (see Sect. 1.1
and 1.2 for details).
The product version shown in Sect. 2.2 is to be fitted to the extraction
system/pipe with the flange at the suction side. This is possible thanks
to the light product weight. However, the preferred product version is
the one with a support bracket. This bracket covers the side of the fan,
supports the motor, and the flange is screw-fitted to it. The bracket is
meant to be fastened to a suitable surface in the extraction system,
using pulse dampers.
The fan is turned on and off by a manual switch to be sourced on site or
a higher-level air extraction control or management system. The motor
will be connected, through its mounting box, to that hand-operated switch
or the power supply circuit of that existing system.
The fan is designed for continuous operation. If (automatic) safety discon-
