The auxiliary input station is used to connect a monitor device, such as a portable
ventilator unit or bed exit unit, to the nurse call system. When the monitor device is in
alarm mode, a call is placed to the master station. The call remains in the system until
the alarm on the monitor device is manually or automatically reset.

Call Assurance LED
The call assurance LED lights when the attached monitor device is in alarm
mode, to indicate that the alarm has placed a call in the system. The LED does
not extinguish until the alarm is reset.

AUX INPUT Jack
A monitor device can be plugged into the AUX INPUT jack.
Note:
Only those devices that have maintained dry contacts when in alarm mode,
that have a standard 1/4-inch (0.64 cm) diameter phone plug, and that are
UL 544 Listed should be connected to this station.
