Remote Station Buttons and LEDs
Pressing one of these pushbuttons begins or ends communication with the as-
signed remote station. These pushbuttons can also be used for:
Monitoring a station or zone.
Paging a zone.
Forwarding a call’s indication to another remote location.
Setting the reminder feature.
Setting and clearing the programmed emergency priority feature.
When a remote station call is being made to any master station in this system,
that station’s assigned LED flashes on and off. When the call to the master sta-
tion is answered, the LED stops blinking and remains lit until communication
with that station is completed, which causes the LED to go out.

Reset Pushbutton
Do not press this pushbutton without authorization. System operations will
be interrupted.

Microphone
The microphone is used to communicate with remote stations when the handset
is not used.

this handy pull-out drawer built into the master station.

ALT/TEST Pushbutton with LED (see page 11, Adjusting the Tone Level)
This button and LED combination is used during tone level adjustment and is
used by service personnel to review specific system error conditions.

PUSH TO TALK Pushbutton
This pushbutton lets you toggle between listening and talking when using the
microphone and speaker for communication.
