FACTORY SETTINGS
What is the factory setting of the
Capsule machine?
The factory setting of the machine is programmed to
35ml for the Espresso Button and 70ml for the Lungo
Button.
Can I reset the CaféPro to its factory
settings?
Yes. Please follow ‘Default Settings’ on page 28.
Can I reset the CaféPro dispense settings
to the factory settings?
Yes. Please follow ‘Group 1/2 Settings’ on page 25.
CAFÉPRO DISPLAY SHOWING DESCALE BEFORE USE SCREEN
CaféPro has extracted 2000 drinks and
has entered Lock Out Mode to prevent
damage from limescale build-up.
Follow the Cleaning/Descale program to Descale
the machine to resume normal use. This will take 45
mins. (See page 26).
CAFÉPRO DISPLAY SHOWING WARNING DESCALE SCREEN
CaféPro has extracted 1500 drinks
and requires descaling in the next 500
extractions to prevent damage from
limescale build-up.
Follow the Cleaning/Descale program as soon as
possible to Descale the machine. This will take
45 mins (see page 26). Until Cleaning/Descale is
completed a counter will show in the top left corner.
ADD WATER ERROR
Add Water error is showing on the
display.
1. Turn off the CaféPro and unplug. Turn the steam
Valve and release all steam until the pressure gauge
shows 0. Turn off the Steam Valve and turn on the
CaféPro.

FIT WATER TANK ERROR
Fit Water Tank error is showing on the
display.
1. Ensure the Water Tank is located within the
CaféPro correctly.

NO STEAM OR REDUCED STEAM IS FLOWING FROM THE STEAM WAND
Steam Wand is blocked with milk residue.
1. Clean Steam Wand and Nozzle and Descale your
machine. (See page 26)

Water Tank is not correctly seated in
position.
Position by aligning the connection and lowering the
Water Tank.
The machine has been turned on with the
Steam Valve left open.
Close the Steam Valve and open again to steam.-
Wait for steam pressure to build to required level.
The Pressure Gauge is showing no steam
pressure, and the Boiler Indicator Light is
flashing red.
1. Wait for the steam pressure to increase and the
Boiler Indicator Light to turn blue.
2. Contact Dualit on 01293 652500.
The machine’s Thermal Protection Device
has tripped.
1. The first time the Thermal Protection Device
requires resetting customer to Reset (see page 28)
If the Thermal Protection Device requires resetting a
second time do not use, unplug immediately, please
contact Dualit on 01293 652500.
If the Steam Indicator Light is red, and the
pressure gauge stays at 0 after 10 mins of
heating (with the Steam Valve closed), the
Steam Boiler needs restarting.
1. Descale your machine. (See page 26)
2. Turn the machine OFF, unplug and allow to cool
down completely. After 2 hours plug in the CaféPro
and reset Steam Boiler using the Thermal Protection
Device (see page 28)

STEAM IS VENTING FROM THE DRIP TRAY
The machine is regulating the pressure in
the steam boiler.
1. Turn the machine off and allow to cool for 2 hrs.
2. Descale your machine. (See page 26)
3. Reset the Steam Boiler (see page 28).
RESET MENU PASSWORD
Menu Password has been set, password
has been lost.
1. To reset the password (see page 29), you must
have the current password. If the current password
has been lost/forgotten, use the master password
(below) to reset.
2. The master password is 108 - this can be used
to access the Settings Menu and reset the menu
password.
