There are up to sixteen different preset configurations that can be setup. In this example we are viewing
preset 1 which is highlighted with a green background to denote that it is active.
Data Pane
A remote data link may be setup and data packets added to the Service.
There are two sets of data parameters, Data 1 and Data 2. These are the data packets for Streamer Service
1 and 2.

This selects the serial interface for the transfer of data
between AEON Transmitter and a remote unit.

Streamer
– When in Streamer mode, serial data will embedded
in the IP stream.
UDP
- User Datagram Protocol is used to move data about the
network. The packets are sent out and the system does not
expect a reply. There is no way that the sending device can tell
if the data arrived at the destination.
TCP
- Transmission Control Protocol is used to move data
about the network. The packets are sent out and the system
will expect a reply. Each message is acknowledged by the
destination device.
TCP Server/Client
allows applications such as telnet to
connect to the port.
Setting one AEON Transmitter to
TCP Server
and one to
TCP
Client
allows data pipes to be formed.
