*The service kit only needs to be replaced if there is a seat post malfunction (see “Trouble Shooting” 

on page 14). In case of malfunction, all parts of the required service kit should be replaced.

1. 

Lightly grease the guide key and the groove in 

the seat tube.

2. 

Place the guide key in the groove in the seat 

tube and press the guide key completely into 

the groove in the seat tube with light hammer 

strokes with a plastic hammer.

Caution: If the guide key is not correctly positioned 

in the groove, it can be damaged during the press-

in process and cause a malfunction.
