Basic Setup (IPStar-to-IPStar / Direct-Link Mode)
1.
Press the on IPStar for two
seconds to enter the Configuration Mode.
2.
With ISP PHONE NO. displayed, press
to edit this option.
3.
Use the keypad on the phone or buttons
on IPStar to input the Internet dialup
phone number obtained from the local
ISP.
4.
Press to save and exit edit mode.
Tips:
Some of Internet Service Providers (ISP) require the user to input DNS information
or a login script for Internet connection. There are more information about these advance
settings in INTERNET SETUP section.

Before using the IPStar device, the user needs to subscribe an Internet access line from the
local ISP. To use IPStar-to-IPStar and Direct-Link modes, only ISP PHONE NO., ISP
USER ID, and ISP PASSWORD are required.

Note:
If the IPStar is connected to an extension of a PBX, users need to input a "0" or "9"
and a pause to dial out from the PBX. A comma "," stands for 0.5 second pause and this
can be entered by buttons.
