Getting over stairs
The transport wheelchair should not be carried when in
use by a patient.
To navigate stairs, the user must get out of the transport
wheelchair and use the stairs, for example with the aid of
an attendant. The transport wheelchair can then be car-
ried up or down the stairs by the attendant.
• Do not attempt to lift the transport wheelchair by grasp-
ing any removable parts (for example, the armrests, leg
supports or footrests).
• Avoid using an escalator.
• Take note of the permitted maximum weight of the
user. This information can be found in the technical
data in these instructions for use as well as on the
identification plate.
• Protect the product from direct sunlight. Product parts
can become hot and cause skin injuries if touched.
Folding | Transport
The transport wheelchair was developed with a simple
folding mechanism. When folding up the wheelchair, en-
sure that the leg supports are removed or the foot plates
are folded up. Remove the seat and back cushions and
also the rear wheels, if necessary. Grasp the front and
rear edge of the seat surface in the center and pull them
upwards. The wheelchair folds up by itself.
Adjusting the armrests
The angle and the front height of the armrests can be
adjusted to the user. To change the angle, press the but-
ton as shown in the photo and at the same time, move
the front end of the armrest up or down. Once the desi-
red angle has been reached, release the button to lock
it

Adjusting the footrests
Use the enclosed Allen
wrench to loosen the
screw at the footrest and
adjust the length as desi-
red by shifting up or down
(pic. 2).
Backrest with folding mechanism
The transport wheelchair
has a mechanism for fol-
ding down the upper
half of the backrest to
decrease its height and
thus allow the transport
wheelchair to be stowed
in a space-saving manner
(pic. 3)
.
Attention:
Do not pull on the black lever since this can lead to da-
mage and/or injuries.
Height adjustment of the push handles
To adjust the height of
the push handles, loo-
sen the T-handle and pull
the handle to the desired
height
(pic. 4)
. Tighten the
T-handle once again!
Assembly of the leg support
The leg supports can be
swiveled inwards and out-
wards and can be remo-
ved if desired.
To unlock the leg support,
release the lever (see ar-
row) and swivel the leg
support inwards or out-
wards as needed
(pic. 5)
.
To remove the leg support, swivel it about 45º outwards
and pull it upwards. To replace the leg supports, insert
them at an angle of about 45º and then swivel them in-
wards until they click into place.
