Slave
– The EAS channel comes from a master unit encoder host and is input to the MEQ1000B
via the EAS ASI input. The MEQ1000B will internally switch all output channels to the EAS channel
when triggered by EAS contact closure.
Demod in Slot 1
– The DTA information comes from a demodulator in slot 1.
DTA Control requires demodulator for DTA data in slot 1.
DTA Control:
Disabled, SCTE 65, SCTE 18, or SCTE 65 and SCTE18
Disabled
SCTE 65
- DTA Virtual Channel Tables are contained within SCTE-65 in-band SI data
supplied from demod card slot 1.
SCTE 18
- EAS Emergency Alert System Tables are contained within SCTE 18 in-band SI
data from demod card in slot 1.
SCTE 65 and SCTE 18
- tables contained within in-band SI data from demod card in slot 1
DTA Mode and EAS Mode applicable only when MEQ1000A is set as a slave to master encoder host.
DTA Mode:
Disabled or Enabled
EAS Mode:
SDE24EAS Encoder Card, SCTE 18 or both SDE24EAS encoder and SCTE18 tables.
Sections below only used when MEQ1000B is set for Master (SCTE18). The MEQ1000B generates the
SCT18 EAS Emergency Alert System in-band SI data.
SCTE 18 Channel Source:
Internal from the MEQ1000B or external from another designated channel on
the system.
SCTE 18 Channel Source Hidden:
When the SCTE 18 EAS is generated internally you can chose to
hide the channel source, if desired.
EAS RF Channel:
Specifies the EAS channel if EAS channel is external.
EAS Modulation:
Specifies the EAS channel modulation if EAS channel is external.
EAS MPEG Program:
Specifies EAS MPEG Program #.
EAS Major Channel:
Specifies EAS Major Channel.
EAS Minor Channel:
