Refilling of the cylinder on the field during operation . Similarly to the ordinary
charging, the device also allows the charging by means of a battery of cylinders of
large capacity. The procedure is the same as for the charging by the compressor
and can take place even when the apparatus is worn. The only aspect to be taken
into account is that at each refill, the pressure of the donor tanks will
progressively lower. This requires correctly sizing their capacity as a function of
the air that you are polling. Such use of the device is particularly advantageous for
interventions in galleries, where charged large size donor cylinders have been
arranged along the route, or a network of high-pressure supply is available.
 Give air to a colleague in trouble. During an intervention an operator might
get stuck due to a collapse or an accident and could exhaust its reserve of air. In
that case a companion might transfer half of his air and then move away to seek
help. This mode requires the use of a short section of high pressure hose
terminating at the ends with two fittings "female" which allow to interface the
two apparatus.
6.7.2. Instructions forl use

Connection and refilling - The use of the quick filling system is very simple
thanks to the high technical content of the system. However, it should follow a
few simple rules to recharge properly. First of all bring the end of the filling tube,
under pressure, close to the cylinder valve; remove the protective cap placed on
the connector on the cylinder valve and check that the plug is not damaged (e.g.
deformed); position the connector at the end of rapid charging hose in axis with
the coupling arranged on the cylinder valve; engage the two connectors pressing
lightly until it clicks. At this point the air transfer from the source to the cylinder to
be recharged will start.
 Disconnection - After reaching the desired cylinder pressure, it must be
disconnected. To do so, you simply move the slide sleeve on connector at the end
of the charging hose in the opposite direction to the cylinder; reposition the
protective cap on the connector placed on the valve of the refilled cylinder.
6.7.3. Restrictions
The following restrictions apply:

the quick filling on the field should be done by a second person if the user
wears the device.

the insertion of the connector into the fitting on the valve of the cylinder shall
take place by aligning axially the two. This arrangement makes the operation
extremely smooth and prevents air leakage during the connection;
