supply, to the condition of operation in positive pressure due to the first breath of
the operator. The cut section of the demand valve E400 AP/A is shown in figure 4.
It is also available in the version E400 APQ, equipped with a system for rapid
connection to the mask. To convert a threaded connector mask into the plug in
version you have to screw on the inlet of the mask a suitable adapter and tighten
appropriately. The system for quick connection to the mask is extremely rugged
and reliable, equipped with protection against the accidental release. The cut
section of the demand valve E400 APQ is shown in figure 5.
The DIABLO models are available with either demand valve detachable from the
pressure reducer (fitted with quick couplings on medium pressure hose) or non-
detachable (without quick couplings on medium pressure hose).
5.3 Mask

5.4 Cylinder
The cap, at the connector side is enamel coated in 90° sectors alternately white
and black, according to applicable regulations (Ministerial Decree of 12/09/1925
Item 18). The cylinders are in accordance with the national regulations of the
country in which they are marketed and are accompanied by a certificate of
testing and documentation required. All data required by the law regarding the
identification of the cylinder is present on the cylinder. The cylinder, as an integral
