5.1
Cylinder carrying harness
5.1.1
Synthetic resin backpack with harness (for DIABLO INDUSTRIAL
MM, DIABLO PROFESSIONAL, DIABLO ADVANCED, DIABLO
INDUSTRIAL PIZ)
Made of synthetic resin, light and strong, has anatomical shape that evenly
distributes the weight of the unit on the operator's back. The backpack is
complete with an adjustable harness, flame retardant -‐ self-‐extinguishing. In Type
2 apparatuses are used suitable materials to withstand flash-‐over conditions.
5.1.2
Carrying bag with harness (DIABLO INDUSTRIAL PI models)
For these models, the cylinder is carried vertically or obliquely on the side of the
chest of the wearer, inside a bag. This bag is synthetic resin coated fabric, flame
retardant, equipped with a harness and equipped with an adjustable front pocket
for the mask. In this way, mask and demand valve may remain connected to each
other and ready for use, but at the same time protected from impact, abrasions or
other causes of damage. The bag has a special structure which, when it is empty,
it collapses, without cluttering up space and be subject to the risk of getting
caught up in any projections. The bag is also equipped with a carrying handle and
a band reflector for easy identification.
5.2
Pneumatic circuit
The pneumatic circuit is the heart of system. Its main function is to confer the air
contained in the cylinder those characteristics of pressure and flow that make it
breathable. The air contained in the cylinder in fact is stored at a high pressure
(up to 300 bar) and must therefore be reduced to a pressure close to atmospheric
to be breathable.
The pneumatic circuit consists of:

pressure reducer C2000 performs the task of transforming the high pressure
air contained in the cylinder, to medium pressure. During the use of the SCBA, the
pressure of the air contained in the cylinder decreases due to the respiration. The
pressure reducer C2000 is equipped with a system for active compensation which,
regardless the decrease of the residual pressure in the cylinder during use, allows
to feed the demand valve with a constant medium pressure (6 bar). It consists of a
body made of forged brass externally nickel plated and bears within two
chambers for the reduction of pressure: the high pressure chamber and medium
