Area of use
The product is intended for both indoor and outdoor
use. Although splash proof, it must not be soaked in
fluid or treated violently or otherwise carelessly.

Installing the batteries
Remove the belt clip by lifting the belt clip latch (
A
)
while pushing the clip upwards.
Flip open the battery cover lock (
B
) and remove the
battery cover by pushing it downwards.
Insert the rechargeable batteries, ensuring that correct
battery polarity is observed.
Refit the battery cover and belt clip.

Charging
Connect the mains adaptor to an electrical wall socket and
to the desktop charger, and place the handset in the charger.
It is also possible to charge the handset by connecting the
mains adaptor to the charging socket
.
The battery indicator will show
(3 segments)
when fully charged. The segments will disappear one
after another as the battery charge decreases.
Charging time is approximately 10 hours for
completely discharged batteries and 14 hours for new
uncharged batteries.
Fully-charged batteries will last for approximately 35 hours
in standby or 2 hours operational time at normal room
temperature. The handset has a built-in power saving
function to prolong battery life, but should nevertheless be
turned off when not used to conserve battery power.
Please note!
The batteries must be installed and charged for 24 hours before
initial use.
Switching the Handset on/off
Press and hold

Volume control
The sound volume is adjusted with

To communicate
Make sure that all handsets are set to the same
channel and sub-channel (see below).
Press and hold the
PTT
(Push To Talk) key to talk.
Release the key to listen.
When needed, send a call signal by pressing
