The Answering Machine (540R)

Remote code

This code is needed in order to gain access to the remote control functions of 

the answering machine (factory setting is 321). If required this number can be 

changed to your own personal 3 digit number.

1.

  Press and hold

 until “Security code SET” is announced.

 until the first digit of your new code is announced. Press

Remote activation of the answering machine

If you have forgotten to turn the machine on, this can be done remotely. 

Remote options are described in full on page 27.

  Dial the telephone number for the answering machine. The answer machine 

will answer after 10 rings.

  The answering machine is now on.

3.

  Terminate the call.
