4.4 Mounting the door fitting
Loosely mount the threaded rings (step 1). Position the front panel and the safety plug (step
2). Install the fitting (step 3).
Please note:
When the safety plug is used, the front plate can be loosened only after the
fitting has been disassembled.
A escutcheon set or an internal plate compatible with MATRIX AIR is required on the
opposite door side for the assembly of the fitting.
If the MATRIX AIR fitting replaces an XS Pro fitting, it is recommended to cover the
existing holes with the optionally available cover plate.
Mount the cover plate between the door panel and the MATRIX AIR fitting.
Note – Risk of damage to the
fittings
Overtightened screws may
cause warpage in case of thin door
panels and you might no longer be able
to close the door properly. Make sure
that the screws are not overtightened.
Never use an electric screwdriver to
tighten the screws!
