Unit Operation
Operation
During normal operation, the direct-drive blower pulls the
contaminated air through the inlet located on the bottom
of the unit. Mist enters the first-stage filter, where a large
percentage of the mist particles coalesces and drains
back into the machine center. The air passes through a
re-usable aluminum-mesh filter before entering the third-
stage box filter. Clean, filtered air exhausts out the top of
the blower into the work environment. An ON/OFF switch
controls the blower and filter maintenance is measured
by the Minihelic gauge.
