4.4. ALARMS AND WARNINGS
The open door and open filter alarms lead to the pausing of the current programme. When the
conditions triggering the alarm disappear, the drying cycle can be restarted as soon as the alarm is
removed. The other alarms stop the programme, and a warning alarm is heard. This warning is stopped
by pressing Start/Stop or by removing the reason for the alarm.
When any of these alarms is triggered: AL-3, AL-4 or AL-9, the machine enters an alarm mode which
permits a progressive reduction of the internal temperature of the dryer and the fabrics to prevent
damage to the materials and prevent burns. This cooling lasts 10 minutes. After this time the machine
stops but the alarm remains on until it is duly cancelled. The cooling can be cancelled by pressing
Start/Stop.
Before starting the machine, an initial check of the alarms AL-1, AL-2, AL-3, AL-5 and AL-9 is made. If
any of these are on, the machine cannot be started.
The following table lists the different alarms and warnings and their possible solutions. They are
indicated via a code of red flashes on the Start/Stop LED light. To determine the alarm number, count
the number of short flashes of the LED. The cycle is repeated after a long flash.
