5.1 STARTING-UP OF THE MACHINE
DESCRIPTION OF THE RUNNING OF THE MACHINE

To start-up the machine rotate the selector SPEED and make sure that the selector is on the position 1
(1

SPEED); then to turn on the machine, press the START push button.
To change the speed rotate the selector to the position 2 (2
nd
SPEED). The machine will change
automatically and without stopping from the 1
st
speed to the 2
nd
speed.
ATTENTION: it is not possibile to get the change from the 2nd to the 1st speed when the machine is on.
By pressing the emergency push button or by opening the protection guard the machine will stop; to re-
start the machine release the emergency push button or close the protection guard and then press the
START push button.

The machine can also be operated directly from the 2nd speed by pressing the START push button.
•
Error in sequency in starting-up: if the sequency in starting-up is not respected as above, the spot light
of the start push button will indicate the error for three seconds.
•
The plant is equipped with an electronic brake connected with the motor of the machine. This permits
an immediate mechanical stop by pressing the emergency push button or by opening the protection
guard.
•
THERMIC protection: if the motor is exposed for several minutes to high stress, the thermic protection
of the plant will enter into force and stop the machine and signal the bad functioning through the spot
light of the start push button and through an acoustic signal. To release the thermic protection one must
cut off the main voltage line for three seconds and then re-connect again.
